High-Velocity Gaming Network (“hV” and “hVg”) is proud to announce the addition of our newly created StarCraft 2 division (“hV.sc2”). This division will serve as our re-entry into competitive eSports and mark an expansion beyond our organizations current casual gaming divisions. In an effort to become a prominent eSports brand, members of hV.sc2 will be provided with the funding to attend the prestigious Major League Gaming Pro Circuit in 2012. Details about what particular events will be announced following the release of Major League Gaming’s 2012 schedule.

With this announcement, we are pleased to welcome Nicholas “Lobber” Adolph, and Tyler “Blade” Nicholas to our StarCraft 2 division. In the coming weeks, hV will be announcing in addition to our current lineup, various unknown players who we feel will become recognizable names in the future of StarCraft 2 in America. Our players, who we feel are regarded as the amateur StarCraft 2 gamer, will be given the opportunity to compete with the best players in North America and beyond. Please support us and continue to support e-Sports at the amateur, semi-professional, and professional level. We appreciate everything the community has given to unknown players to keep the desire and dream of making competitive gaming a legitimate and very real ideal.

Our current roster is as follows:

    Adam “Briggs” Briggs - Protoss
Team Captain & Manager of hV.sc2

Briggs started into the world of competitive gaming with Counter-Strike 1.6. He has achieved numerous LAN wins and has played competitively in top tier divisions of notable online leagues. In addition, he maintained an extremely high rating in World of Warcraft on numerous characters. His current StarCraft 2 rating is 1521 in Masters.

    Nicholas “Lobber” Adolph - Protoss

Lobber is the epitome of the competitive StarCraft 2 gamer. Since his announcement to take a professional chance at competitive StarCraft 2, Lobber has increased his ladder ranking to become one of the top American ranked players, and simultaneously formed a large following through the social news website, Reddit. He is currently ranked within the top two hundred on the American ladder and sits relatively 1600 in Masters.

    Tyler “Blade” Nicholas - Zerg

Blade hit GrandMasters on the American ladder in season two. His current focus is on the Korean ladder where he can find better opponents to perfect his play. He will be making a return to the American ladder in season four where he hopes to excel before returning to the more-competitive Korean ladder. He currently releases replay packs on TeamLiquid every couple of weeks.

High-Velocity Gaming Network is a multi-gaming organization first established in Phoenix, Arizona following the release of Counter-Strike 1.6 in June of 1999. In High-Velocity’s peak, we fielded or were affiliated with teams in Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, and notably competed in online leagues such as CAL- Premier, CEVO-Main (CS 1.6) and CAL-Invite (CS:Source). Furthermore, members of hV have achieved remarkable feats, such as obtaining numerous rank one titles in the MMORPG World ofWarcraft, and winning various LAN tournaments in Counter-Strike 1.6. With the addition of a competitive StarCraft 2 division, High-Velocity plans to re-enter the world of competitive gaming. It is our goal and desire to field competitive and non- competitive teams to support a growing casual gaming community on top of our ambition to secure ourselves as a prominent eSports brand. Currently, High-Velocity fields non-competitive and competitive teams in Heroes of Newerth, Minecraft, Battlefield 3, and recently StarCraft 2.

You can find us on Twitter at @HV_Gaming. Please join us as we continue to grow and expand into the world of competitive eSports.
